2009-12-21 - Clients are advised that processing times at year-end can be lengthier than normal due to volume. PWGSC is better able to ensure that the contract will be in place with sufficient lead-time to secure delivery by March 31 if requisitions are received as soon as possible.
For Requests for Proposals and other non-NMSO requirements, this should be no later than January 4, 2010.
For Storage RVDs, this should be no later than January 18, 2010.
For Computer RVDs, this should be no later than February 1, 2010
For Elevated Call-ups for Computers and Storage, this should be no later than March 1, 2010.
For Call-ups, this should be no later than March 8, 2010.
Requirements received after the suggested dates will be processed as quickly as possible. PWGSC will give priority to Requests for Volume Discounts over Elevated Call-ups in order to ensure sufficient time for processing all requirements.
Clients are encouraged to contact PWGSC as early as possible while their requirements are being developed, particularly for RVDs, so we can best meet desired deadlines.
